Finally first post it was just hell to setting this (ty aiden)

I've wanted to do something like this for a long time, I don't really want to make a video for it, the last "analysis" video sucked and had lots of misinformation due to the fact that I didn't really understand some of it.

Before the blog really starts lemme tell u what's catto boi (if ppl don't know)



Catto boi is a horror game series created by mango-ki, published on itch.io and gamejolt.originally, the first game was supposed to be an entry for the Luigikid Creepypasta Challenge. the game got attention pretty quickly, which led mango to make more games about catto boi.
several games were created over time, until mango decided to remove them from its page at the end of 2022, and later to remaster them in 2023.

Almost every game has been remastered. except one which is catto boi forever, which is apparently a mix of 2 games: Titanium Biscuit and Catto Rena.

Titanium Biscuit was supposed to be a horror-free game, which would make it like a normal game, a private demo was published on the old discord server while the game was in devlopement, which in the end was never finished or released publicly.

Catto rena is also a non-horror game that is primarily a game for using online features to play with the community.
if i remember correctly, the game was
released in early access. some things were planned for this
game like pvp mode, better maps etc. unfortunately this too was never finished in time.
Networking on the game apparently sucked (the way we have to connect does aswell), which makes sense since gamemaker network api stinks

in short, titanuim and catto rena were never fully finished, and all this will be finished and reworked in catto forever.

Catto forever trailer got uploaded last month (March 20 2025) as i'm writing this
Seeing the trailer already got me hyped af (I still am lol), the visuals of the game have changed a lot it's just amazing to see that it's had a good change

That's just satisfying to see that it's not really all the same

Speaking of repetitive things
I thought the visuals were a little too similar such as recolors, but some changes have taken place in some
objects, some spikes have different colors among the levels and it really fits with the theme of some levels.


The themes of some levels have changed for once, whereas in the remakes it was always nature, cities, night or
something else. And now I see that in some levels there's finally something new in terms of visuals. The level with the clouds is so far one of my favourites.
The visuals of this level are really great, one of the sprites are so good it reminds me some of thoses rainbow gifs that u can see on old websites (take exemple on the divider of this blog lol)

anyway, enough about level design, let's talk about other things.
During the trailer I could see an object which is rather interesting and I really don't know what it is.

Maybe it's a redraw of the object that can give you back energy or if it's something else I wonder what it is.

In the rpg phase, it talks about "Extra Rewards".

If it's just to collect stuff, I wonder how it would be. especially since we're talking about the whole village, who could be as clumsy as big boi 🥀💔
(maybe there's other villagers who knows)

Also I realize the price of some things in the shop, there are quite a few interesting things but also THE PRICE OF BISCUIT DOESN'T NEED TO BE THAT EXPENSIVE 😭🙏

That's literally $100 for something that does very little damage. 20 or 50$ would be a reasonable price imo.

In the head accessories shop, too, I find that there's a lot of interesting stuff, with quite a bit of choice.

It's pretty creative but damn expensive. If the game money is easy to get, then I take back what I said about the prices lol.

One little thing that confuses me is that during the gameplay sequences there happens to be a flag in some levels (or maybe it's in all levels?)
I'm really wondering what its purpose is for disappearing as soon as the player gets closer

Maybe it's a checkpoint? Idk, that's maybe something else. (EDIT: One of my friends told me that it might be some sort of gamemode like a "capture-the-flag-esque minigame" from what they said. that's a good theory but it may or may not being true, who knows? only the future will tell that.)

There's a lot more I could say about the trailer. But I think we'd better avoid going futher about that, otherwise the blog would be WAY too long.

One of the things I'm most excited about is the support for modding in this game.

I think it's great that the community will finally have the right to share things with official tools. that's whats the most interesting thing
i just cant wait to see what the community is about to do with that.

So many possibilities shown in a single trailer, it's just incredible, and I can't wait for its release.



the game will be just incredible if you ask me.
Catto forever will be just the game of the whole saga, full of surprises and fun.

Things to note about the game:
-Online multiplayer will FINALLY be back
-Modding will be supported
-Level editor included (very curious about this)
-New visuals
-Hope the game duration is right
-AND THE GAME WILL BE RELEASED IN JUNE AHHHHHH
